Flame Retardant Fibeglass Surface Mat/Veil
The fiberglass surface mat is a strand of short strands of glass fiber strands which are randomly and uniformly distributed into a continuous glass fiber sheet by a papermaking method and bonded by an emulsion. Its main performance and characteristics: chemical corrosion resistance, fire resistance, flame retardant, waterproof, aging resistance, weather resistance, insulation and so on. It is widely used as FRP base fabric, anti-corrosion, heat preservation, fire retardant, waterproof material, epoxy composite copper board and electrical insulation products.
E-glass fiber mat for epoxy composite copper and electrical insulation products.
As the gel coat layer reinforced mat, the glass fiber surface felt is a kind of directional fiber. Its softness makes it suitable for angular, irregular shapes and complex curved surfaces. It is suitable for a variety of composite materials and can be used with EP. The VE, UP and PU resins are rapidly soluble, forming a resin-rich layer between the fiber voids, imparting a smooth and flat surface, effectively avoiding the occurrence of pitting in the surface after forming and the fiber texture hidden in the fiber. It also highlights the inter-layer shear strength enhancement, surface toughness and excellent chemical and corrosion resistance.
The glass fiber surface felt is a strand yarn which is shortly cut from a glass fiber raw yarn, and is randomly and uniformly distributed into a continuous glass fiber paper sheet by a papermaking method, and is bonded by an emulsion.
